1967 year in Beatles history

This is a mind-blowing Beatles site --
every day of their history
recorded chronologically.

eg . . .

 October 2, 1967

Studio 2. 10.00pm-2.30am. Mono mixing: `Your Mother Should Know' (remixes 21-25, from take 52). Recording: `Hello Hello' (working title of `Hello, Goodbye') (takes 1-14, tape reduction of take 14 into takes 15, 16). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Graham Kirkby.

And what am I doing at this time?
Nothing but school work.
I'm sick of it!

The days are getting a bit monotonous --
there's no time for anything but homework.

Gosh, Mr Laytham gave me an unbelievably high mark for my Social Studies book
-- I just can't make it out.
I seem to be improving in all my subjects.

Sunday, October 1, 1967

I went round to Robyn's place for the afternoon and Mr Grant was a really good sort.

Got some Neue Mode magazines from Barbara M.

Dear Uncle Bosie,

I went exploring in an abandoned warehouse
today and look what I found --

a typewriter for me and a green bottle for you!

I always imagined a place with the name
Martha's Vineyard would be full of
grannies, and indeed my (adopted)
 NanNan does live there.

My NanNan is a very healthy 90,
 and she lives with Moumou.

Meet Moumou!

and this is Nan and Moumou's cottage in the woods.

Uh oh, nightmares for me tonight.
And living here in 1967, this is what
I have to look FORWARD to.
Those, apparently, are the Seventies.

I don't know which is worse.

A bunch of orange-suited drips like those?

I had the turtle-neck, the halter-neck, and
even had it in a yellow much like this.

I was, not, however, allowed to have it
made into a "tent frock" for fear people
 would think I was expecting.

Of course, all the other girls had one.
