I needed to go to bed but I also needed something to knock Blogadollar off his perch at the top of my page.

Here 'tis, found via Imorgen, and it can be my Thanksgiving prezzie to Aunty K, Uncle Ed and all my other mentors and friends in America.
Most of all, though, it brings my Guru to mind.
Thank you and goodnight, from my little antipodean hellhole (one day I'll get out of here and come and visit you all).

 You got 8/10 correct.
You've got a pretty good handle on US geography. There's a good chance you've visited at least a dozen of the fifty states.
+++++
I must have fluked it?! I have never been to the US and haven't even studied it in geography.

 - If you dig straight down, where will you end up?

If I was to dig straight through the earth from Invercargill, New Zealand, (and God, I wish I could) . . . I would come out in the Atlantic Ocean, not too far from Brittany, where I would see beautiful old houses like these.
Why did fate cause me to "land up", instead, in a Calvinist city at the bottom of NZ that has utterly no charm and is hundreds of miles from anywhere?

Made some little Christmas tarts in cooking and they're delicious. We made them without the normal alcoholic ingredients. I detest alcohol -- mind you I'll probably change my mind before I'm much older.
Got maths exam results back and I nearly died when I found I had only 40%. But only half the paper had been marked.

My site is worth $3,802. I have never seen that much money in my life!
Now I'm going to blog all the more, and maybe BUY MY WAY out of this Presbyterian hellhole at the bottom of New Zealand.

I took these away while you were out, Uncle B. It's for your own good.
By the way, I saw your new "girlfriend" joed out on the couch. Lol!
